Did you know that HVCC Health Services at the Wellness Center partners with St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services (SPCVS)?  A Counselor from SPCVS is available at HVCC during Drop-in office hours at the Wellness Center located in Campus Center, Suite 270 on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – Noon for the Spring 2025 semester.

Since 1979, St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services has worked to support and empower survivors of crime as they begin their recovery. Since its start as a grassroots sexual assault crisis center for Rensselaer County, the program has grown to offer a variety of services to survivors of all types of crime across New York’s Capital Region. Recovering from crime and trauma is a difficult process; SPCVS staff can help. They offer services to crime victims, their family members and friends, and the community.

St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services’ mission is to reduce the incidence and trauma of all crimes through person-centered emotional support, advocacy, medical and legal assistance, and community-based prevention efforts.

Hudson Valley Community College’s Health Services at the Wellness Center  located in Campus Center, Suite 270, is here to support you in meeting your healthy goals.
